20's Plenty for York

York has been promised a 20mph default speed limit where people live, without traffic calming. Why?- 95% reduction in risk to walkers and cyclists. Plus more walking and cycling, less pollution, less noise, less fear and a better quality of life. The Winter 2010 consultation supported Total 20 (76%). Fishergate got 20 mph limits by two schools. City of York Council is committed to Total 20 Cllr Merrett's Full Council statement on 30 June 2011 was
